Intro to Hand-Building - Thursday Afternoon
This is a 6-week course, meeting Thursday afternoons (12:00-2:30 PM). Classes begin on 1/8 and end 2/12.
Welcome to the world of handbuilding pottery! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll explore the timeless techniques of pinch, coil, and slab building to create both functional and decorative pieces. You’ll also learn surface decoration methods like stamping, carving, and glazing to make your work uniquely yours.
No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and be ready to get your hands dirty! This class is ideal for beginners as well as returning potters who want to refine their fundamentals. Ages 18+.
